This decoder has a 21-Pin socket and fits in locomotives with factory or aftermarket motherboards equipped with a 21-Pin plug, comes with 10-14 lighting outputs depending on your interface. When checking out:
- If you do not wish to have a sound file loaded leave the "Sound File" box empty and the decoder will ship blank
- If you do wish to have a sound file loaded enter the ESU file number in the "Sound File Number" box (go to the ESU download section and use the search box to find your desired file number or locomotive type, North American, Australian & European sounds are available)
- If you wish to have a sound file loaded with a Custom Horn & Bell sound enter the ESU file number in the "Sound File" box as well as the desired horn & bell type. Example: "S0608 EMD Steel Bell #1 Nathan K5LA #4", click here for available options
An ESU LokProgrammer can be purchased separately if you wish to load your own files, note this is not required to changes CV settings, see the decoder manual for more information.
