The PowerPack Mini is specially designed to work with all ESU decoders including the Select, V4.0 & 5 series sound decoders, including a third "charging wire" to allow the user to set CV's & load sound files with the LokProgrammer while not charging the capacitor. Provides the locomotive around 4 seconds of power during interruptions or dirty track. We consider this handy product a must and use it in all our ESU decoder installs.
